(Happy Birthday, Christina!)Â
We’ve got a write-up! Our little ukulele group that meets once a month got a write-up in a little newspaper. You can read it here:

The man in the picture is Mark Guiterrez. He is actually a very talented mariachi guitar player who can make the ukulele sound like a….well, a mariachi guitar – or a harp – or a mandolin – or anything! (Not a bird, though, because that would be weird.) While Lloyd and I are slightly disappointed that our picture didn’t make it in the article, I’m pretty sure that Warren Buffet is going to read this and join our little ensemble. Don’t you think that would make a pretty good post?
Brad says
You’re famous by association! Promise that you won’t forget us little people as your fame skyrockets. And if you meet Warren Buffet, tell him I would like $100,000.
Lauren says
Who are you, little peon? Get away from our money.
Kristi says
Obviously the news reporter did not meet Daisy Uke, or you would have had full-blown front page coverage. They are missing out.
Peggy says
Are you the woman who helps the man correctly finger the G chord (or should I say Angry Bird)?
And if your group ever travels to Hawaii, count me in as a roadie will ya?
Lauren says
Let’s say ‘Yes’ to all!
Christina says
You’re all missing the most important part of the post -- It’s my birthday!!
Lauren says
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Why’d you move to San Antonio?
What’s wrong with you?
Lloyd says
Is today really the 27th? I signed everything today like it was the 26th. I don’t actually remember that the 27th is your birthday. Whenever I think of it I always remember it as, “the day before the 28th”. I don’t know why that is.
Beth says
I’m pretty sure that you remember it as the day before the 28th because my Half-Birthday is Feb. 28th, and that eclipses all other February dates in your mind.
Christina says
I only moved here so you people in the snow belt would have some place to go in the winter!!! p.s. it’s 80 degrees here today.
