We’re off at the wedding, so here’s a little time-delayed post to tide you over.
There are some rolls of shelf liner at Target that are gorgeous. Can you believe that I’d say that? It’s not that I’m a rabid shelf-liner fan, it’s just that this is so dang pretty. The photo doesn’t do it justice – tiny little stripes of beautiful colors. I’ve picked one up and held it – heart pounding unsteadily – then wisely put it down. (That’s the secret to being so cheap. Put the item down and walk away.) The second time I went to the store and heard it’s siren song, I took this picture. I think it’s better this way. If I had it, I wouldn’t revere it.
I need the number of a good therapist, please.

I understand the attraction to pretty colors, but shelf liner?
Good show of self-control, though. I should probably try the “put it down” tecnique when looking at garden plants.

The question is, does it match your kitchen? If it doesn’t, then you’d have to completely redo your kitchen after purchasing the shelf-liner, which seems a little over-the-top… If it does match your kitchen, then you may have to separate out a little budget line and wait for it to come on sale. You can still be cheap--you just have to wait for 20% off!!

Did I mention, we all have our troubles? I have my purses and polish, Brad has his video games, and Lauren has her pretty-colored housewares…
Admission is the first step to recovery…

I’m afraid I have to go against the majority on this one … I say “Go ahead & get the paper!” Life is short … live pretty.
