God bless American Idol.
I watch a lot of t.v. I mean – a LOT of t.v. I justify it by doing ‘commercial cleaning’ – getting up and putting things away during the 2 – 3 minute breaks. (Did you know that an hour of television can have between 16 – 24 minutes of commercials?) I like doing it this way because it compliments my quasi-ADD personality. (Excuse me: ‘flighty’.) American Idol is the best show for this because there’s no big loss if you don’t get back to the television right on time.
The down side is that when I see a clean room, the urge to make some sort of prototype overwhelms me and the room’s a mess within minutes. Oh, well.
Well, at least you don’t channel surf during commercials. It always makes me so nervous when people do that. I keep thinking we’re gonna miss something! I never change the channel when I’m watching a show. But I don’t clean during commercials. I usually just sit.
I usually grade during commercials, but somehow I can’t see you doing that Brad.
Do you watch the commercials, or literally just sit?
I read, but I’m gonna give this cleaning thing a try … maybe.
When I do change channels, I usually get hooked into something else & forget what I was watching in the first place. I never change channels if it’s a really good show!
On lazy nights I DO channel surf, but I have incredibly honed timing, and always, ALWAYS return exactly on time. It took years of dedicated watching to build those skills.
I love you Simon!
That comment was the most awful thing I’ve read ever. It made me want to pluck my eyes out and never read anything ever again. Who told you you could be a typist? They were terribly, terribly wrong.
Can I try again???
Out you go.
