With the beard trimmed down, he has now become his idol of technology.

Behold, my wondrous invention that will save the world and cause much plastic to be cast into thine oceans.

Part of the iPhone contract obligates me to wear a stylish black t-shirt at least fortnightly. But this is actually a t-shirt that Charles gave me turned inside out. Don’t tell Steve.

Remarkable! I’ll loan you a bit of my gray hair and maybe you can solve all of our schools’ current financial challenges with a few walk-in visits to some key banking institutions in the great Northwest! “Hello Mr. Jobs. Would you like to withdraw some of your Millions today?” “Why yes. How did you know my latest passion is a charitable philanthropy initiative for Lutheran schools? It’s called ‘Assisting People and Places in Lutheran Education’. A.P.P.L.E.” (That should be easy enough!)

“…a final, secret, wondrous transformation” I thought you were going to say he turned into a butterfly. Now I’m disappointed.

He did turn into a butterfly. Or more accurately, the fairy of the computer kingdom, spreading joy from pad to pod…

These past couple days I’ve been thinking that I can finally see the family resemblance between Lloyd and Sam! But now I’m wondering if Steve Jobs is part of the family as well?

    Okay, I’ll say it…
I really liked Lloyd with the beard and all the hair.
But he does look more “geeky” this way.
And the cause was definitely worth it.
