   At the grocery store, I often only buy two of the “10 for $10″ items. They cost $2.

     Calculating the cost of Pepsi is the only math I’m good at -- in fact, I’d say I was savant-like. I’m an excellent driver.

   That happens with diapers all the time. They* sell less for more, but market the “Jumbo Pack” like it’s really a deal.

   *the stores that sell things. Even Target.

   I hate it when you are comparing the 12oz at $1.69 and the 20oz at $2.99 container. Now I have to break it down into 4ths or some other creative math. Why can’t they make the sizes in multiples, 12oz, 24oz,48oz?

     I’m all for shopping at places that put the unit price on items. I really like it when they do that. But I don’t really know why they do. It seems like they are better off keeping people in the dark.
