Did you know?

Did you know?

My parents forwarded an e-mail that just floored me. It was all about how boxes of foil and plastic wrap have locking tabs on the ends of the box, but many people don’t know about them. I never knew about them! You’d think that such a handy thing would be more well-known. I’m glad to know so I don’t keep dropping that silly foil on the floor. Did you know about these? Do you use them?

What the what the?

D’oh!

Are there other things I should know?

I know about them, but I don’t always use them.

There’s really an email forward about this? Does it say it was written by a general in the Army and that if you punch in the tabs it will help a sick girl get better and if you don’t forward it to five friends you don’t love Jesus?

I knew about them, too. Maybe our Mom taught us…

Was it the same forward that suggested peeling bananas from the bottom up, like the primates do, to avoid the strings? That doesn’t work, by the way. I still had strings.

I didn’t know about them. However, we got our last plastic wrap from Sam’s. It’s huge. It never moves from its spot in the cabinet, therefore does not need a locking tab. I will look on our foil, though.

I’ve seen the plastic wrap to which Deborah is referring. It’s HUGE!!! I think it must hold 1000s of feet of plastic wrap. In fact, I think it could wrap at least 1000 feet.

We have that at school – it’s industrial stuff. What on earth could she be wrapping with that?

Have we heard from her daughters lately? Charles?

You know how Deborah likes her spa treatments. I think she uses most of the stuff for her seaweed wrap.

I never knew either. I have noticed though on occasion that when using someone else’s, sometimes their’s seems to roll easier … smoother. Could they have had their locking mechanism activated I wonder? Hmmmm ….

I didn’t know, but I’m going to text my kids so that they can punch them in when they get home.

We just switched to Verizon, which many of their friends have (and I have at work), so they now can text with their friends and with me. They’re CRAZY about this new capability.

    Is this discussion open-ended?
