Welcome!

Cricket crack corn and I don't careIt seems like everybody else has such a cool website, we thought we’d throw in our two cents.  That’ll show that guy at http://www.bradaptation.com what’s what!  Heh heh…..

Top Ten Reasons We Decided to Have A Blog:

10. We wanted to be as cool as Brad.
9. It’s a reason to shop for a digital camera.
8. We are REALLY bad friends / son / daughter / brother / sister and hardly ever call anybody, so this will be a way to check in to see if we’re still alive.
7. Any chance to post pictures of my ‘prototypes’ will just enhance the world as we know it.
6. Did we mention we wanted to outdo Brad?  His website is so cool, I hate him.
5.  Our cats are really not getting enough airtime, and their agent is hounding us.
4. Because the domain name lloydandlauren.com wasn’t taken.
3. This should work out to be cheaper than Christmas cards.
2. You WANT to hear about the glamorous life of Lutheran schoolteachers in Nebraska.
1. The billboard in our yard documenting our life was causing our neighbors to complain. (Don’t believe what they say – floodlights canNOT cause automotive paint to peel.)

That’s all for now.

With all these sites that I must now check daily…I need to know how to prevent the diminished open page bars from condensing into one bar with 8 sites open…I want to just keep them all as their own tab (because I’m painfully lazy and I don’t like clicking on the one bar and dragging to the actual page I want to open, yea it’s ridiculous, but humor me). Do you know what I mean? Can you help?

Well see, what you want to do is right click on the taskbar (that’s what microsoft calls the bottom part of your screen). From the menu that pops-up choose properties and one of the checkboxes on that screen will be called something like “group similar taskbar items”. Uncheck it and you shoud be good to go. There are other nifty things hidden amoungst those tabs, and you might find something else to change while you’re at it.

Have you noticed that your previous comment (the one to which I am posting this reply) cuts off only the last ‘e’. It makes for an interesting “recent post” on the side of the website. Heh.

            HA! That’s hilarious!
But how did you get a comment to nest below this level? The automated message said they “wouldn’t nest below this level”. You must know about computers more than you say… Either that, or you’re trying to give Lloyd a hard one.

I look forward to being “wasted” with you! Wait! Wasting Time that is!!!!
By the way, when I leave my email address, is it really required-never shown publicly? Or, is that just cut and pasted from Brad’s site??

Everything here is just cut and pasted from Brad’s site. Even this comment. There’s a lot of junk with this blog business that is aimed at keeping SPAM off of comment sections like this. Evidently there’s some monitary benifit to having links to your site all over the place, and there are so many blogs that just spamming them with a link to your site is a worthwhile thing to have a computer do for you. I think the email address is used for some sort of white list (which sounds racist, but probably isn’t).

How come no one asks ME computer questions?

As far as your e-mail addresses, I found a nice place that buys them for $20 a pop. I’m well on my way to paying off that refrigerator…..
